At-Home Extension:

This week try making some natural paint that is safe for your baby to eat. All you need to add to each batch is about 1/2 cup of dry baby cereal, Just enough almond milk to thin it out (you could use water if you’re not sure of baby allergies, but the almond milk gave it a pretty shine). For green paint add a handful of cooked spinach, Purple add 5 blueberries, Pink add 2-3 pieces of small cooked beet, Orange add 2-3 chunks of carrot or cooked sweet potato, Yellow add 5-6 chunks of cooked butternut squash. Here is an infant at 9 months enjoying the paint. Your baby can enjoy it too! Don’t be afraid to get messy!food
