Parent Education @ the Library

The library is now offering Parent Education!!! Something that I am so excited about, not only as a librarian but also as a Mom. We had our first speaker come in last Monday. Oakland Family Services came in and discussed infants. The information provided was so interesting and really inspired me to try some new things at home with my own child.

The next session is on July 21st at 6:30. It focuses on children preschool age. The Blurb below gives some details.

Look What I Can Do: Understanding Preschool Development
This program will discuss; the brain development in preschool aged children. It will show how to recognize the uniqueness in the way children think and view what’s around them. Strategies to support preschool children’s thinking will also be discussed. Registration is required

Hope to see you,
